Black Channa Gravy

It is one of my favorite & wonderful dish which is very easy to make. It also makes our dinner very great with Roti or Parathas. It can be prepared within 15 mins.

Ingredients
----------------
2 cup Black channa
1 Onion (finely chopped)
1 tsp red chilli
1 tsp coconut
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp mustard seeds
4 nos curry leaves
1 tsp jeera (perungeeragam)
1 cloves
1 cinnamon

1 bay leaf
1 tsp Oil

Instructions
---------------

1. Pressure cook the Black channa dhal until it cooks well. Itz good to add ½ tsp of salt during pressure cooking itself.

2. Heat oil in the pan & add mustard seeds, jeera, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, curry leaves after they get fried add the finely chopped onions to it ( To cook the onions fastly sprinkle little bit of salt on it).

3. Add two cup of water, half of the cooked black channa dhal , 1tsp of red chilli &
½ tsp of salt to it.

4. Grind the remaining black channa dal with
½ tsp of jeera, coconut & add to the pan. Cook them for 5 min when the Gravy turns thick u can stop it.
